The stories however were much too derivative of the TV episodes, varying very little from their origins. And the stories were dumbed-down for telling here as well. The unlimited, wide ranging span of a comic book should have allowed for more imaginative storytelling but the panels looked as if they were drawn from TV stills. An opportunity missed! Future Trek comic series fared bett… on Board: Star Trek
