Well, this was a nice thing to do.

A statue made for soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo was revealed in his hometown, Madeira, Portugal. The current Club World Cup champion had a statue made for him from the people in Madeira, and by the looks of things, he was very surprised.

There were also a tweet posted by someone who attended the event, as well as a message from Ronaldo posted via Google Plus as well as a tweet:
