It’s looking like an increasingly good time to be an X-Men fan, thanks in part to a selection of classic X-Men character joining Funko’s Marvel line.
It’s a good time to be an X-Men fan. It’s seemed recently like Marvel’s mutants were getting the short end of the merchandizing stick, in favor of a focus on the Marvel Studios movies star Avengers and attempts to make the Inhumans happen.
But now, with the upbeat ResurrXion on the horizon, that seems to be changing, and one step in that change is the introduction of a selection of classic X-Men character to Funko‘s line of Marvel collectibles.
Starting with the Pop Vinyl figurines, Cable is joining their ranks, alongside Archangel, Sabretooth, and Psylocke in their classic 1990s costumes. There’s also a classic Quicksilver in his blue suit, and Storm in her punk outfit and mohawk from the ’80s.
