20160227 – Massive Attack plombé par des problèmes techniques au Zénith
Massive toujours d’attaque ? C’était la grande question; ce vendredi au Zénith pour le premier des deux concerts parisiens de Massive Attack qui scelle le retour du groupe de Bristol, le plus passionnant des années 90. Trois chefs d’oeuvre coup sur coup: «Blue Lines», «Protection» et surtout l’incroyable «Mezzanine» en 1998, épais labyrinthe, sombre et inquiétant, dans lequel on aime encore se perdre presque 20 ans après.

20160224 – News : Le dernier album de David Bowie mis en scène sur Instagram
A partir du 25 février, le célèbre réseau social diffusera, via sa chaîne InstaMiniSeries, la série visuelle intitulée « Unbound », inspirée par le dernier album de David Bowie, sorti en janvier dernier.
Instagram ne permet pas seulement de partager des photos mais autorise aussi la publication de vidéos.
Une chaîne est même dédiée à ce type de créations : InstaMiniSeries. Un mois et demi après la disparition de la légende du rock britannique, une mini-série composée de seize épisodes, de quinze secondes chacun, sera proposée aux fans cette semaine.
Il s’agit en réalité d’une mise en scène des titres du dernier album de David Bowie, « Blackstar ». L’artiste anglais avait lui même validé le projet avant sa mort le 10 janvier dernier. Le casting de cette série atypique compte notamment sur la présence de l’actrice de « Six Feet Under », Patricia Clarkson.

Une très très bonne nouvelle pour son dernier Noël. David Bowie a appris quelques jours avant sa mort qu’il devait être grand-père en juin, a raconté son fils, le réalisateur Duncan Jones, sur son compte Twitter.

20151120 – Mon concert de Simple Minds au Zénith de Paris
FR : Le 20 Novembre 2015 dernier nous avons assisté au concert de Simple Minds au Zenith de Paris pour leur tournée « Big Music Tour 2015 »
Je me souviens encore de la réaction de la majorité des gens de mon entourage et de mes proches, inquiets après ce qui s’est passé à Paris après les attentats de Novembre, mais je n’allais pas m’arrêter la , avec mon épouse nous y sommes allés, et nous n’avions rien regretté.
Nous aimons bien Jimm Kerr et son groupe Simple Minds depuis les années 80 et nous n’allions louper pour rien ce concert, c’est au moins la 4 ème fois ou 5ème que nous les voyons en concert en France et croyez moi c’est toujours avec un plein d’énergie et de communication avec le public.
Le début du concert a démarré avec une musique en hommage à la France et aux victimes de l’attentat, très touchant de leur part, ils l’ont fait vraiment humblement, la salle a apprécié.
EN : On November 20th ,2015 we went to see the concert of Simple Minds on Paris Zenith for their « Big Music Tour 2015 ».
I remember the reaction of most of my co-workers , friends and family who adviced me against going to that concert, after all what happened in Paris in November 13th. But with my wife we wanted to go on and still keep on living, we didn’t want those narrow minded stupids to change our way of life, that would be a battle they wouldn’t win. We didn’t regret it.
We always followed Jim Kerr and his band Simple Minds since the 80’s and we didn’t want to miss their concert here in Paris. It was at least the 4th or the 5th time we saw them in concert here in Paris, and they’re always great live, full of energy and great communication with the audience it feels good to attend to their concert, good performance.
The concert started with a music dedicated to the events in Paris and all the people who died in those events. It was very kind and humble in their approach to do that and the audience reacted greatly to that cheering them for that.

Stepping into the spotlight was not the easiest move for Dave Gahan. Of course he’s been strutting around as the singer of Depeche Mode for the better part of 40 years, but with Soulsavers Gahan takes control of the music in the studio as well as on the stage, and the fear and thrill of total ownership is not lost to him.
After two solo records—2003’s Paper Monsters and 2007’s Hourglass—Gahan teamed up with the UK production duo Soulsavers (Rich Machin and Ian Glover) in 2012 for their first collaborative LP, The Light the Dead See. This year, the three saints of sweeping British electronic pop released Angels & Ghosts, a gorgeous, spacious, gospel-tinged album that showcases Gahan’s ability to craft songs that fit right into his shiny, leather pockets. While there’s a spartan quality to the album, learning how to perform these songs live required the use of a 10-member band that includes members of Spirtualized and Porno for Pyros.
On the latest episode of From The Road, Gahan and Soulsavers take us into rehearsals, where Gahan details the struggles of creating music and the various angels and ghosts that have kept both Soulsavers and Depeche Mode going all these years.
