1 – Star Wars Black series : Ralph McQuarrie set : Obi-Wan Kenobi VS Darth Vader , based on the concept art of Ralph Mac Quarrie who imagined this fight between the old Jedi Mastet and the Sith Lord for Star ars first Movie now called « A New Hope »
2 – Popeye by Boss Fight Studios. I am still a fan of those old Popeye the Sailor Man cartoons and this rendition of the character is so cool .
3 – Muttenroshi / master Roshi from Bandai Dragon Ball Stars Series (for my younger son Eliott who is a big fan) this version of the character is quite fun more of a warrior style one than the one with the turtle shell on his back ( I know a bit of Dragon Ball though but not as much fan as my son)

En : start of Autumn season today and to celebrate this here is one selection of a nice French book called Pif gadget with lot of cartoons inside and a bonus included for kids to try out I remember vividly going to the newspaper store near my home in Paris to buy one from time to time and find a gadget that wouldn’t last for long but kept me busy with all the nice funny characters and all the wonders announced .

Presse locale à Paris pour prendre de temps à autre mon exemplaire de pif Gadget avec ses incroyables histoires de personnages comiques mais aussi de ses gadgets dont la durée de vie était variable et le résultat pas toujours à l’image de ce qui était promis .
Merci à Simon et son site sur les années recré de m’avoir permis d avoir ce beau recueil car j’avais loupé le projet en crowdfunding / collaboration participative pour le financer .

20240404 – En : Depeche Mode Memento Mori Tour is coming to an end , it seems like another chapter closing and maybe waiting for another or something quite different from now on . I wanted to choose some of the different magazines covers where they appeared. Having some special memories with the French magazine “Best of “ Depeche Mode back in the early 90’s and the special Magic! from 2001 which I have special fond memories of because I was a bit involved in this one .
Fr : La tournée de Depeche Mode Pour l’album Memento Mori arrive à son terme , un nouveau chapitre se ferme , une nouvelle étape se prépare peut être différente de ce qu’on attend , on prendra tout comme cela vient . J’ai voulu commémorer à ma manière en sélectionnant certaines des couvertures où apparaissait le groupe . Une mention spéciale pour le magasine « Best of Depeche Mode « sorti début 1990 relatant le parcours du groupe , ainsi que le Spécial « Magic! Hors série « de Depeche Mode avec sa couverture argentée dans lequel je suis « un peu » impliqué . Enjoy the silence …
