New on my Pinterest: Star Trek http://ift.tt/2bKykde : Star Trek – the classic series was a runaway hit in reruns during my youth. A comic book series was a natural. The stories however were much too derivative of the TV episodes, varying very little from their origins. And the stories were dumbed-down for telling here as well. The unlimited, wide ranging span of a comic book should have allowed for more imaginative storytelling but the panels looked as if they were drawn from TV stills. An opportunity missed!
