agreed , internet shoudl stay neutral it’s a tool , what you better do is learn or teach how to use it properly, You don’t give a car to someone without having a licence, internet should be looked at the same way, you have to learn some ways of searching and reacting on internet in order to be OK.
« I’m from the Government and I am here to help. » I must submit to you that these are the most fearful things to heard said to you. The government follows a timeless truth that power seek to protect itself. The recent net neutrality debate simply illustrates the truth of the fact that the government seeks power to protect itself if nothing else. The fact that three people can wave their hand and suddenly the internet which was created by private enterprise is presto a public utility should alarm every American citizen greatly.
The real question was why was this really done. The rational was to make things fair for everyone. When the government talks about ‘fair’, a lie is coming, you can bank on it. I looked to see if there was a public ‘hue and cry’ about how unfair the internet was before this action was taken. I couldn’t find one. There were a few disgruntled people…
