November 17, 2016 at 09:21PM – New Pin : Star Trek – the classic series was a runaway hit in reruns during my youth. A comic book series was a natural. The stories however were much too derivative of the TV episodes, varying very little from their origins. And the stories were dumbed-down for telling here as well. The unlimited, wide ranging span of a comic book should have allowed for more imaginative storytelling but the panels looked as if they were drawn from TV stills. An opportunity missed!
