the young padawan of the now-blind Jedi Kanan Jarrus, and a new look to go with it. Looking decidedly more mature, with a new short crew cut and a posture to match, Ezra is ready to rock season three’s socks.
In the clip, starting around 3:45 in the above video, Ezra, Sabine, Chopper, and Zeb are rescuing Hondo and another of his pirate/smuggler friends, who have some crucial information. We see Ezra in action almost immediately, with a blaster and what looks like a newly redesigned lightsaber, after his last one got a little on the destroyed side in the season finale. Even Hondo can’t believe what he sees as Ezra takes charge, asking, « Is that really Ezra? »
